SDG alignment supports organizations in identifying and aligning their strategy and actions with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributing to their achievement at both global and local levels.

We recognize that the construction industry plays a pivotal role in advancing the SDGs. In Cyprus, the construction sector is a key driver of economic growth, supporting infrastructure development, community improvements and job creation. At the same time, the sector significantly influences resource use and environmental impacts. As highlighted by the United Nations, sustainable construction is essential to the 2030 Agenda, promoting resource efficiency, reducing emissions, and supporting resilient communities.

Our Approach and Selected SDGs'

At A&A Apostolides, we aim to align our operations and strategy with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a structured and practical approach.
We identified the SDGs and targets most relevant to our operations, impacts, and strategic priorities. This included evaluating how our current initiatives contribute to SDG progress, how our long-term strategy influences outcomes, and where our activities may have both positive and negative impacts.

The selected SDGs were then mapped to our focus areas and strategy, ensuring full integration into our sustainability framework.

As a result of this process, we aim to align our efforts with the following 8 SDGs, where we have the greatest ability to contribute.
